1. Hybrid Tritium / Fiber-Optic Design

Truglo TFX Pro sights feature an innovative design that combines tritium and fiber-optic technologies to maximize visibility regardless of the lighting conditions. Tritium, a radioactive isotope, glows in the dark and does not require exposure to light.

My Testing 

In my testing, I found the hybrid tritium and fiber-optic design to deliver as promised. The sights were easy to acquire in both bright and low-light conditions. 

The tritium component of the sights provided a transparent, luminous point of focus in low light and complete darkness, while the fiber-optic part shone brightly in daytime conditions.

My Testing

The encapsulated sights handled recoil well throughout my testing and maintained their brightness and visibility. I exposed the sights to different solvents, but the Fortress Finish proved its worth by maintaining its integrity without any noticeable impact on the performance.

3. Angled Rear Sight Edge

The TFX Pro sights have an angled rear sight edge designed for one-handed slide manipulation. This might seem like a minor detail, but in emergency situations, being able to use the sights to rack the slide can be a lifesaver. 

The angled edge provides a firm and convenient surface to execute this maneuver.

My Testing 

I found this feature useful, particularly in simulated emergency situations. The angled edge allowed me to rack the slide one-handed against various surfaces without slipping or causing damage to the sight or the surface used.

4. Focus-Lock Ring

My Testing

During my tests, I found that the Focus-Lock ring indeed quickened target acquisition. The 

contrasting color drew my eye and helped me align the sights more rapidly than without it.
